Like.com, a silicon valley based visual search startup, has raised $32 million in third round of funding from Menlo Ventures and Crosslink Capital. All previous investors also participated in the round. The funding will be used to expand globally and the company intends to launch a UK version of the site like.co.uk this week. The current round of funding values the company north of $100 million and the estimated annual revenues of the company are well over $20 million.
Like.com lets users search for an image and than displays images of similar items on sale at various shopping sites. It earns money by taking cuts from the sales of the shopping sites to whom it sends traffic.
