KidZui adds social networking features

KidZui, a portal for kids has now added a host of social networking features like mini-feeds from status updates of friends, but these friend requests needs to be approved by parents. Friend status updates could fall into many moods such as “doing homework” or “energetic” etc. Kids could also create their own Zui avatars and can ping their buddies.

KidZui’s users have rated two million pieces of content and shared a million pieces with each other. KidZui is backed by Maveron, Emergence Capital Partners and First Round Capital and has raised $10 million in funding to-date.
