Hi5, the no 3 social network in terms of unique visitors per month, has laid off almost 15% of their staff mostly in Design, HR, and QA – in the name of restructuring. Amidst this news, Hi5 is touting some good coverage that they recently got on Fortune. According to their blog posting:
During a down economy, things are looking up for hi5. Today hi5 was featured in Fortune.com, soon to arrive on news stands. The Fortune feature story highlighted a very colorful photo of Ramu and Akash, hi5’s CEO and CTO in the lobby of hi5’s offices in the SOMA district of San Francisco.
